The mission of the Iron Hills Civic Association is to preserve, protect, and enhance the quality of life of our community through dedicated civic engagement, responsible leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the residents of the area.
We take tremendous pride in our neighborhood, its distinguished character, and strong sense of community. Our association is built upon the dedication of its members and neighbors, whose generosity, volunteerism, and willingness to give their time and energy make our community a better place to live, work, and raise our families.
Our mission is to ensure that Todt Hill and Dongan Hills Colony remain safe, welcoming, vibrant, and desirable communities for current residents and future generations.
Preserving Our Neighborhood and Quality of Life
We are committed to protecting the character, integrity, and quality of life of our neighborhood. We will advocate for responsible development, the preservation of our environment, the maintenance of our homes and streets, and the infrastructure and public services necessary to support our community.
The safety and security of our residents and families remain among our highest priorities. We recognize and deeply appreciate the contributions of the New York City Police Department and all those who work tirelessly to protect our neighborhood. We will continue to advocate for the resources, cooperation, and community partnerships necessary to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Advocacy, Leadership, and Accountability
The Iron Hills Civic Association is committed to serving as a strong, independent, and effective voice for our community. We will work constructively with elected officials, government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders to address the issues that matter most to our residents.
We believe that meaningful progress begins with listening to our neighbors, understanding their concerns, and working collaboratively toward practical solutions. Our leadership is committed to transparency, integrity, and responsible stewardship of the trust placed in us by our members.
